Although the Magdalen Estate is situated in a lovely, calm, quiet and serene area of South London, it is by no means isolated or cut off from great transport links, which can take you anywhere you want to go.
At the bottom of Magdalen Road itself, just around the corner of Garratt Lane, Earlsfield train station can be found, which takes one directly to Clapham Junction, a station that provides services to many destinations in the south of the country, and to Waterloo, the stop to go to for London’s South Bank area, which boasts a huge variety of culinary, arts and entertainment venues. It is from Garratt Lane that buses to Tooting and Wandsworth depart. If you’re living a little nearer Wandsworth Common itself, the train station of the same name also links to Clapham Junction, and terminates at London Victoria, from whence the Gatwick Express can be caught, and coaches to Oxford leave every ten minutes.
For those who prefer to catch the bus, the 319 which stops on Bellevue and Trinity Roads can be taken all the way to Sloane Square- perfect for a little indulgence on the Kings Road!
Up to date travel information can be found on the Transport for London homepage, which also boasts tools that will help you find the quickest way to reach your intended destination.
