There is nothing better than settling down to a lovely home cooked meal, being with old friends, and having a great, relaxing evening- particularly if you get restaurant-style service, and you’re not responsible for any of the clearing up post-dinner. The Supper Club craze is fast spreading around London- a chance for diners to devour three courses of great home cooking, all for a very reasonable suggested donation, and really get a unique eating out (but in) experience. There are a couple of great supper clubs that have shown themselves to be rather popular around the Magdalen Estate area, the closest one being Supper Club London, run in Balham by English teacher/cooking fanatic, John. Every other Thursday the club runs, with a new menu every three weeks. Having lived all around the world, John’s food is inspired by cuisine from Europe, Africa and South East Asia. Not only this, but you’ll also be able to taste variations on classic British dishes, so there’s something to suit every palate.
