A London-based electrician firm, who annually donate a generous sum to a deserving charity to mark International Women’s Day (8th March), are appealing to Wandsworth charities to place their bids for the donation, as an organisation from the borough has not yet been awarded with it.
The £800 given away by Harland and Voss has in recent years gone to some great causes, including the Womens’ Library in central London, a charity which helps disadvantaged women in north and east London find work. This year, Sue Granik, Director of Business Development for Harland and Voss is encouraging groups from Wandsworth to come forward and tell the company about themselves and the work they do, as otherwise, they once again face missing out on the donation.
If you know of a deserving charity, who do great work for women in and around the Magdalen Estate area and across the borough, Harland and Voss can be contacted on 0208 451 0345, or visit their website at www.harlandvoss.com.
