Residents of the Magdalen Estate and other areas of Wandsworth will, next month, have the opportunity to put questions to Mayor of London Boris Johnson and members of the London Assembly at a special event being held at Battersea Arts Centre, formally the Battersea Town Hall building.
Subjects up for discussion on the night are policing and safety, transport, the environment, London Olympic and Paralympic Games 2012 and ending with the somewhat ominous category of “other issues”. We’re sure the audience will have a lot to say about the subjects proposed.
For those wishing to be a part of the special People’s Question Time, which is to be chaired by Wandsworth and Merton assembly member Richard Tracey, tickets can be booked online free of charge. Doors will open at 6pm, with questions beginning at 7pm, concluding at 9pm. The evening is to be part of one of four events of the same ilk, more information about which can be found at www.london.gov.uk.
If you’re planning to pop along to meet Boris in person and perhaps ask him questions regarding issues affecting those living in and around the Magdalen Estate, please do get in touch and let us know. Maybe we’ll see you there!Google+
