Fancy a Different Panto this Year?

Tara arts will be performing CinderellaOne of the things we love most about being locals of The Magdalen Estate is not only the variety of activities, clubs and events that take place in the area, but also the celebration of diversity that said events encourage- exactly how it should be in a city where hundreds of languages are spoken, and people from all over the world have settled.
Tara Arts, based on Garatt Lane, a stone’s throw away from Earlsfield station and The Magdalen Estate, is, this year, putting a twist into a well-known fairytale, and presenting their first ever pantomime; Cinderella, but with a Bollywood flavour.
Director Jatinder Verma, along with his young cast, have been working tirelessly to create an entertaining, colourful, and over-the-top production that can be enjoyed by all the family, and Verma himself has been impressed about the energy and sense of fun that has come about during rehearsals. The show will run for three nights, from the 16th to the 18th of December, as a taster for a possible longer-running show in the future. It sounds to us as though this is very likely….
